The challenge

Apprentice Nation is a careers platform that uses music to inspire and engage young people to get career ready. Apprentice Nation 2022 required live coverage of their event in Birmingham to inspire young people to tune in and join in. CC Labs, who produced the event, brought  multi-camera director Jan Genesis on board, who in turn brought his apprentice, Pamela Sibanda, to gain some experience of a live event.

What we did

Apprentice Nation was a perfect opportunity for Jan’s apprentice director, Pamela, to work on the project to see how an event is produced and directed. Pamela is an up-and-coming director that has studied at The National Film and Television School. We captured Pamela’s journey behind the scenes as she explored multi-camera directing on a live set.
